Termites are among the most notorious home pests that plague homes in the entire world. Historically, they have existed for over 250 million years – adjusting to most climates and surviving environmental changes.This tells us how widespread the problem is with this type of pest. 
Termites are probably one of the most destructive bugs that you may find in your backyard, home or office. Usually hard to locate, termites may be hiding under the soil or inside the wooden chairs you have in the balcony. But you may not notice termite infestation easily unless the damage to your property is already done. We only notice them when we see the damage like rotten wood, wood powder or something suspicious.

For instance, it may be hiding and thriving on a tree in your backyard and you won’t notice unless the trees fall one day because of termites. They usually thrive in wood such as a partial or full dead tree, furniture in the garden or home, under the walls, in the garbage of old unused furniture and other such places. There are various types of termites; some like to thrive in wood and other may be hiding under the soil. But irrespective of the type, they are destructive and they can cause damage faster than you may think.
